Brand Identity Design for First Reaction

At First Reaction they are passionate about safety, in the home and in the workplace.  Their products give people the equipment to protect themselves, their family and their property.

First Reaction products are placed where they are most needed, remaining discrete yet accessible.  As a fixed installation their location will always be known, saving time when it matters most.

Commissioned by Invest Northern Ireland, we recently developed a new brand for First Reaction. They have invented a new innovative fire safety product for domestic and business use. 

We also created the site architecture and named the individual brands, given that there are 4 products in the range. The brand we created centred on the 2 initials F&R, highlighting the urgency of the sector. Where the F&R met it forms an abstract + symbol, synonymous with fire, safety and emergency services. Red and black colouring was also used to instil a sense of immediacy.

We developed the strapline “HELP WITHIN REACH” given the convenience of the product in the home and workplace. Following this we used the striking F&R letters as a graphic device across their marketing literature, vehicles and products.
